Refund policy

What you buy is delivered instantly and in full: your name, logo, one line of copy and a link, placed publicly on the board at the position your payment earns. Once that listing is live, the thing you paid for has been provided, and the payment is not refundable.

This applies whether you are dissatisfied with the traffic you received, whether you were outbid a minute later, whether you changed your mind, or whether you decided the amount was more than you meant to spend.

Rank is a live standing, not a rented period of exclusivity. Anyone may pay $5 more than your total and take your position at any moment, including immediately after you pay. No minimum time at any rank is offered, implied or guaranteed, and losing a position is never grounds for a refund.

Antarctica and Greenland are sold as fixed-length leases rather than by bidding. A lease cannot be taken from you while it runs, and it is equally non-refundable — including if you stop wanting it partway through, or if the lease lapses while you are not paying attention. When a lease ends, the territory returns to the board for whoever claims it next. Leases do not renew automatically.

There are three cases, and they are the only ones:

Your listing never appeared. If a payment succeeded and no listing was created, contact us and we will either place it or refund you in full, whichever you prefer.

You were charged twice for the same listing. The duplicate is refunded in full.

We removed your listing. If we take a listing down for reasons other than a breach of our terms, we refund the payment behind it.

We remove listings that link to illegal material, sexual content, malware, phishing, impersonation of another business, or content that harasses a person or group — and we do not refund those. The minimum bid is $1; nothing about the price changes this.

If something has gone wrong, email us first — we answer, and the three cases above are settled quickly. Raising a chargeback instead of contacting us will result in the listing being removed and the site declining future orders from you. Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, who are the merchant of record and will be the name shown on your statement.
